From April 21st 2015, Google is updating its search algorithms to favour websites that are easy to navigate and use on mobile devices. How mobile friendly a site is will now affect how prominently a site appears on google search results.

This change could have a dramatic effect on small businesses, who could see a sharp decline in traffic to their sites until they make their website mobile friendly, some search engine experts are dubbing this ‘mobilegeddon’.
